Electrifying!!!!!!!

Matthew Lewis and Evanna Lynch have spoken of the "electric" atmosphere on set, as filming for the final two instalments takes place. "I've done a few days which went fantastically," said Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom. Matt was speaking at the launch of a competition that offers a role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Matt and Evanna released 1,000 black balloons from the London's Millennium bridge. The bridge features in the explosive opening scene in the sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Each balloon has a ticket with a code that entitles the holder to enter a prize draw. The winner will appear in the final film as a moving portrait on the walls of Hogwarts school. Lewis said: "The winner will be able to see all the stuff behind the scenes. People always assume the bigger sets are all computer-generated, but a lot of them are actually there."

Commenting on the rule that entrants must aged 18 or over, Matt said: "Obviously we started off as primarily a kids' film and it's a shame that it's over 18s, but we've got a massive demographic now . "The films are accessible to all ages. There's a lot of people now that can really get into the films and are really going to enjoy this prize. "
"You wouldn't be able to tell it was the last in the series because the atmosphere is electric - everybody is having such a great time," said the 20-year-old star.
Evanna Lynch, who plays Harry's dreamy friend Luna, told the BBC that filming was "about halfway through". And she revealed that filming on the climactic battle for Hogwarts hasn't begun. "The big stuff is still to come," she said. "I like that because if it's all at the start it's a bit of an anti-climax, but they're keeping that bit until the end." (BBC)

Those that were in the planning of the Wizarding World at Universal Studios, had the following to say:
It start with Hogsmeade station into the park. To its left is Zonko's, Honeydukes, and the Three Broomsticks (serve pumpkin juice and butterbeer). across the Three Broomsticks is the Owlery (a 'calm environement' with owls atop), next to it is the owl post office. Ollivander's wand shop is to the post office's right. Inside of the wand shop will be thousands of dusty-old wand boxes. More action from the Deathly Hallows 'Seven Potter's scenes'

The Liverpool Daily Post has a short clip of crew setting up their gear to film more of the scenes of Harry and Hagrid (using stunt doubles) as they escape the Deatheaters!

Scenes being filmed this week by the unit 2 crew are inside the Queensway Tunnel, Liverpool itself and will be used to link up with other footage shot at Bovingdon Airfield and the Dartford Tunnel in Kent, both last month with exclusive images and report only at HP4U if you missed it the first time around.

More exclusive filming updates!!

As the Potter cast take a month long hiatus and put their weary feet up for a well deserved break (until October when they return to commence filming), now seems like a pretty good time to give all you visitors a sneaky peek preview of the astounding news features we have coming later in 2009 - ONLY at HP4U!

This, our dear Muggle friends, is the first (in close up) look at a section of the entrance to Luna Lovegood's frenetic printing room at home in the village of Ottery St. Catchpole - decorated in true Luna style!

We've some awesome shots and a super report to come.

............ 'around her door were numerous paintings of varied creatures, some of which it seems only Luna herself bears witness to. In the attic above was one of her many printers, which she uses to make the copies of her work for all her readers to mull over'

Remember to keep checking back only here for news and views of the Granger House, (from scenes I'm sure you all remember) and THE most comprehensive, two-part filming report even we have managed to date - this time of Bill and Fleur's wedding, including all the cast details that you could ever need to know, photos of the various sets, information about the Wedding cake, and if all that wasn't enough you lucky, lucky Muggles, how about another world first?..... a stunning picture of Fleur's wedding dress!!!

Few shots taken from the recent night shoot element of the wedding back in August [scenes of which to be finished during October] a huge array of lighting effects were used to create the right atmosphere in these scenes.

....... 'as the dancing reaches its peak, we first see Lupin and then Harry make appearances into the wedding tent, though both are largely ignored by the guests at large. This is the point when the madness begins. A strange glowing ball of light (Patronus) appears, and from it a dire warning in a deathly voice “The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead...... They are coming'

From our own personal collection, the dejected sight of the destruction of Hagrid's hut, but suberbly created and crafted by the special effects team.

Dan laughs off minor injury during 'Deathly Hallows' Filming

In a recent interview with French magazine One, Daniel was quoted "Until now nothing really bad happened to me, only a few scratches. But I'm happy because I finally got a big black eye during the shooting of Deathly Hallows."
"I was shooting a scene where Harry is fighting a huge snake. As you know, the Harry Potter films are big productions, so instead of an actual snake in front of me, our stunt coordinator held a long stick with a boxing glove at the end."
"He got me by surprise and hit me in the face," he continued. "The blow was strong enough to knock me out! I saw the scene on slow motion afterwards, and it looks like I get hit like a real boxer. Really classy!"

Help Tilly!

Come on all you like minded, serious Potter collector's! You have the chance to not only help a young girl's Parents raise vital funds for her, but YOU can be the owner of a unique signed contribution by your favourite Author JK Rowling.
We ourselves are bidding, so get your cards out, leave your signed book collections for a while and BID!! :-) (and the best of luck to you if you do!)

If you missed the news first time around then here is a section from the auction listing which is currently being offered via eBay and written by Tilly's Father, Adam:

'We would like to ask you to please join in and help us raise well needed funds for our daughter Tilly. Our little girl became ill at the age of 15 months old to the terrifying Meningitis Septicaemia (Meningococcal Septicaemia Strain B). We were told that Tilly was so ill that she was probably going to die – a parent’s worst nightmare! I felt so helpless, so scared of losing Tilly, but she fought and she fought and after 10 blood transfusions she showed signs that she was fighting this horrific disease. Thankyou Tilly for being so strong you are such a brave and inspiring little girl!
We were overjoyed that Tilly had survived and any complications we would overcome in time. Tilly’s body was extremely damaged. Her hands and toes had already died and needed to be amputated. What do you do with your hands? The answer is pretty much everything. The night before Tilly had her hands amputated I held her little black hard dead hands in mine and promised Tilly that ‘mummy would buy her some new hands and do whatever it takes to give her a fulfilling and happy life. This is my promise to Tilly.
We have been asking celebrities since that day to donate a handprint to auction to help me keep my promise. This is where you can help! Please bid kindly under the circumstances and every penny goes into a fund for Tilly. Tilly’s hands cost £23,464.00 a pair and have to be replaced as she grows! Please help us!

To view and bid on any of the items being auctioned, including those from Robbie Coltrane and JK Rowling to name just two, visit eBay here. PLEASE Bid sensibly and only with what you can afford!
