J.K. Rowling Accepts Award, Speaks of Potter
J.K. Rowling was in Dublin the other day to receive the James Joyce Award from UCD's literary and historical society, and of course the beloved Harry Potter author spoke about Harry during the event, admitting that she had the thought of Harry dying when writing the early books but had changed her mind. Rowling also said that when the final book was finished it was "like saying goodbye to an old boyfriend".
