British Children Love Potter Movies

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States) was voted favorite home-grown film for young people and families in the United Kingdom. The vote was conducted by First Light Movies and Philosopher's Stone received 34 percent of the votes, followed closely by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with 32 percent of the votes.

The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday February 27th at London's Odeon Theatre, with actresses Imelda Staunton, Katie Leung and Bonnie Wright expected to attend.
