Mike Newell Interview

MSNBC has a slightly more in-depth interview with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Director Mike Newell. He talks about trying to keep the special effects working for the story, and not the other way round! That would work for me Mike!!

While praising the job the previous directors did, Newell says that he felt he brought the "one thing his predecessors lacked: Intimate knowledge about the quirks of a British education". Good point Mike!!
