HBP Audio shattering records
The audio version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was announced to be going on sale the same day as the book, this last Monday. And the amount of copies being made for the demand? The original printing will consist of 635,000 copies.
The audiobook will again be narrated by Grammy winner Jim Dale, who provides the voices of 117 characters. The hardcover is more than 600 pages, and the unabridged audio version runs 19 hours, filling 18 compact discs or 12 cassettes.
