Largest Printing Yet
Scholastic Books reported that the upcoming book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be set to go at 10.8 MILLION copies (first print).
Previous experience seems to show of course, that demand is high for Rowlings' books, and even though this is an Additional 4 Million more than was first released with Order of the Phoenix, they feel there will be no problem in selling them at the bookstores.
Current statics show printings as the following for past Harry Potter adventures:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (1998)
50,000 (First print) 26 million (Current books in print)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1999)
250,000 (First print) 24 million (Current books in print)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999)
500,000 (First print) 19 million (Current books in print)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2000)
3.8 million (First print) 17 million (Current books in print)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003)
6.8 million (First print) 16 million (Current books in print)
