Bloomsbury’s Harry Potter website has been updated to show us that they have designed new covers for all the Harry Potter books; “The Signature Look”. Theywill be released on November 1st! According to The Bookseller:
Coincidentally, I had just finished my own redesign of the Potter books, I went for a more simple look but if you are interested you can check them out here!The new “Signature” livery was created by Webb and Webb Design Limited, with illustrations by linocut artist Clare Melinsky on the front cover, back cover and spine, to “appeal to the next generation of readers who did not ‘grow up’ with Harry Potter and who have not yet experienced the thrill of life at Hogwarts”, according to the publisher.Melinsky said: “I was delighted and excited to be asked to illustrate the covers for such massively famous books—and seven of them! It was top secret for the best part of a year.”
