Film Score Daily is reporting (and it has now been confirmed) that French composer Alexandre Desplat will be composing the score for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Alexandre is the 4th composer for the Harry Potter films, the others being John Williams, Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper.
