J.K. Reading
Rowling will be hosting a 'tea party' in Scotland on the day of her latest book's release, Tales of Beedle the Bard; at which she will read an excerpt from it. The date of the reading/book release is December 4th.
Scholastic Books has also announced, a children's essay contest connected to the reading. Five grand prize winner (plus guest) will win a trip to Scotland to be hear Rowling in person.
If you wish to enter, this was given:
Fans are asked to write an essay of 200 words or less, describing how they have helped others. Because so many kids today are taking an interest in helping others in their schools, communities, and around the world, the Scholastic contest gives them an opportunity to write about the causes they care about and what they've done to make a difference.
The contest has already begun, and entries must be received by 5pm (EST) on October 30th.
