Stephen Fry and Jim Dale in the spotlight

Stephen Fry, the man who lent his voice to the British versions of the Harry Potter audio books, was presented with the British Comedy Lifetime Achievement Award yesterday by none other than author J. K. Rowling. Pictures of the event can be seen here, courtesy of Rex Features.

Jim Dale, the voice actor of the U.S. versions of the Harry Potter audio books, has just been nominated for a Grammy award for his work on Deathly Hallows in the category of Best Spoken Word Album For Children. This is the fifth Grammy nomination for Mr. Dale, who previously won the award for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Congratulations to both!
