Rowling Finishes Potter Book at Balmoral Hotel

According to an article published in The Sun, a hand scribbled note left on a marble bust at Edinburgh’s luxurious Balmoral Hotel states that "JK Rowling finished writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in this room (652) on 11th Jan 2007."

A spokeswoman for the author said: "We can confirm JK Rowling did write some of the book at the Balmoral last month and did complete the book at that hotel."

In an article posted on the BBC News website, a spokeswoman for the Balmoral also confirmed that the Edinburgh-based author left a signed message on one of the hotel's busts.
