Conference planned to Celebrate Potter Anniversary

Next year will mark the 10th anniversary of the publication of the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone. To mark this special event, a group of fans is getting together to organize a conference called Sectus 2007 that will take place in London, England, from July 19th to the 22nd 2007.

Sectus 2007 will be all about the Harry Potter series, its characters and its myths, and will offer a variety of academic presentations, discussions and debates, as well as themed sports and games. There will be something to suit everyone's taste as fans come together in London to share their passion for anything and everything related to the phenomenon that is Harry Potter.

The largest event of its kind to ever take place in the UK thus far, Sectus will be a unique opportunity for Harry Potter fans worldwide to get together: Sectus 2007 will be run by Harry Potter fans for Harry Potter fans!
