Yesterday, the annual Tony Nominations were announced and certain familiar names were found on the list. Potter actors Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldermort), Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley), Frances de la Tour (Madame Maxime), Zöe Wanamaker (Mme. Hooch) and JIm Dale (the voice behind the Harry Potter books) were amongst the nominatees.
- Ralph was nominated in the 'Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play' category for his work in Faith Healer.
- Richard Griffiths was nominated in the same category for The History Boys.
- Frances de la Tour was nominated for the 'Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play' for her work also in The History Boys.
- Zoë Wanamaker was also nominated in the 'Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play' for her role in Awake and Sing!.
- Jim Dale was nominated for his work in the musical The Threepenny Opera, in the 'Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical.'

Richard Griffiths, Frances de la Tour and Jim Dale won the Tony's they were nominated for. Congratulations!
