A Really Good Egg

The ceramic egg painted by JK Rowling that we'd mentioned in an earlier post sold for £2,600 in an auction to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Scotland.

Ms. Rowling, who lost her mother to the terrible disease, had agreed to paint her own design on an egg for the auction. The Harry Potter author is one of the patrons of the Scottish MS Society.
