Money raised @ Accio2005
The organisers of the Accio 2005 conference are delighted that over £1300 was raised at a charity auction on Saturday night. Top of the list of items was a copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince signed and donated by JK Rowling. One lucky bidder paid £540 for the privilege of taking this rare article home. Other items included a Wand First Aid/Care kit from the Magic Wand Company plus various enchanting, and possibly enchanted, artefacts donated by magical and non magical representatives attending the weekend event. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the National Literacy Trust and One Parent Families. Everyone involved in the organisation of the conference offered their sincere thanks to those who donated items and to those whose bids raised this impressive amount for two worthy charities. Well done to all.
