Looking for HBP @ a discount?
Well, if your in the U.K., look no further then.
The supermarket price war reached Hogwarts when a major retailer announced it is to sell the latest Harry Potter book for £8.96.
ASDA will start taking online pre-publication orders of JK Rowling's tale of wizardry tomorrow. It aims to undercut rivals Tesco and Amazon who are currently taking online pre-orders at £9.99 per book.
ASDA is braced for a rush of buyers for Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince ahead of the July 16 publication date. Earlier this month Tesco revealed its online store was taking an average 350 pre-publication orders for the new Harry Potter per day. ASDA plans to open hundreds of its stores at midnight on publication day so customers can buy the latest Harry Potter volume as early as possible.
