And could you Ever guess who made this list in the world of Harry Potter? Yep! One Thomas M. Riddle (aka Lord Voldemort). In an online survey done by Amazon, a poll was made to find the Top 10 scariest villians of all time. Our young Harry Potter's nemisis ranked in at #4 in the poll.
Amazon product manager Wendy Snowdon, said "The villains that people found most scary were usually at least 20 years old, and who committed crimes against small children and cute puppies were the most inexcusable to children."
"They are the very stuff of nightmares," she said. "Genuinely scary villains stick with us from the first time we read the book as a child."
Although some did change through generations.
She said "Those over 50 found Bill Sykes and Gollum from Lord of the Rings very creepy.The under 21s found characters such as the Grand High Witch from The Witches or Voldemort from Harry Potter particularly terrifying."
