HP filming to be staying in the UK for now
Great news for all HP fans in the UK. Our source last week may have panicked on her return from Prague in the Czech Republic after visiting the many film sets and recieving news that 'Harry Potter is coming.......'Enquiries were made by Warner Bros. because of the apparently brilliant exchange rate, tax incentives, etc, but the word on set is that everyone would be very surprised and extremely disappointed if filming was moved there just because of money. It's a well known fact that the first 3 Harry Potter films are some of THE biggest grossing films ever for Warner Bros. and with that brings the recources to finance ' other ' WB projects. Of course the very experienced team at Leavesden studios, who agree that Prague is a wonderful filming location with an abundance of very capable personnel, doubt very much that anywhere in the Czech Republic has the facilities or the infrastructure to mount the calibre of production that HP has enjoyed from the various locations offered within the UK without a massive injection of money and foreign (to CZ) talent. So, for now, it's expected that Harry will stay at Hogwarts in the UK.
