Holier than Thou
NEW POPE HITS OUT AT HARRY POTTER BOOKS
New Pope BENEDICT XVI has blasted JK ROWLING's Harry Potter books for "undermining the soul of Christianity". Nicknamed g'ds Rottweiler, Pope Benedict is set to confuse Catholics across the world because his predecessor JOHN PAUL II praised the multi-millionairess for her Christian lifestyle. Benedict, formerly Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger is grateful to Harry Potter - GOOD OR BAD author Gabriele Kuby for revealing the 'hidden agendas' behind the popular children's books. He says, "It is good that you explain the facts of Harry Potter, because this is a subtle seduction, which has deeply unnoticed and direct effects in undermining the soul of Christianity before it can really grow properly."
Leading Christian theologian Uta Ranke-Heinmann, 77, comments, "The Vatican feels it has the copyright on what is good and what is evil and it does not want anyone else infringing its right to this monopoly." It will condemn anyone who tries to enter this territory without its permission."

**So! That's the latest and greatest from the new Pope.
It has been said, that it looks like we're heading back to the days of the Inquisition with this new one. :/

Well said, especially about comparing him to Umbridge. ha! I've heard some remarking, and saying.."Does this mean the Inquisition will be back in favor?"; what with this new pope.
And you're Completely right! A book is a nice 'escape' from our everday lives. And it does help nurture many things, including imagination (Not satanism or witchcraft). My son and I read the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale. And he went from being under in his reading skills, to well above. JUST because of the love in reading that book brought out in him. It's things like that that these so called 'authoritive' figures need to open their eyes too. I doubt ONE person who is practicing either satanism OR Wiccan, will/can tell another, the reason they 'got into it', is because/after reading a Harry Potter book. ;)
