Did you observe today's two minutes silence?

The Potter Cast and all the crew did too! In case none of you were aware, today is Remembrance Day (known also as Poppy Day or Armistice Day (the event it commemorates)) and is a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians esspecially in the First and Second World War's. It's observed on 11 November to recall the end of World War 1 on that date in 1918 and signing of the Armistice at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

The Harry Potter studios (Leavesden, Hertfordshire) was quite a place to be today at 11am, esspecially as filming is currently underway of the biggest battle scene Hogwarts will ever see. During filming everyone stopped to pay their respects for two minutes while they finish filming the giant battle scene; which has so far taken up nearly 3 weeks with a full cast list and in what is sure to be an epic finally. Filming recently has centered on some major battle scenes in and around the courtyard which have been very tense; and the sight of some disturbingly real special effects 'bodies' and some major destruction all around and you know the Potter guy's are going all out to bring the series to an incredible and realistic climax. We'll have much more exclusive news on this in time.

For this week, another exclusive shot from inside the Weasley's and also a great glimse of the inside of Arthur's 'shed' - enjoy!
